Whatsapp Down

On October 25, 2022 (today) at around 12.30 noon, WhatsApp services are reported to have crashed. This is reported in connection with India and Sri Lanka along with the first submission reported on Downdetector.com at around 12.15 noon.

Apart from sending messages, status updates or any kind of thing cannot be done and the connecting message can be seen when the internet is disconnected.

According to Down Detector website, more than 4000 complaints have been reported in the last hour.

This crash has happened for both Android and Apple devices. But an official announcement about this has not yet been released by WhatsApp through the official Twitter handle or in any other way. So, I think it is better to use another instant messaging app as a backup. Let's comment below.
